Key Ticket Information

This year the rugby club game will be ticketed again. This is to help cover the running costs of Varsity rugby and to help make it a fantastic memorable evening.

  • Tickets to the event will cost £3.50.
  • The ticket cost includes your travel to and from the ground and entry.
  • No ticket, no entry. Please purchase your ticket prior to the event to avoid disappointment. You will be turned away without it.
  • Security will check your ticket receipt getting onto the bus and at the rugby club. Please have it ready to show.
  • Buying a ticket will apply to everyone attending. This includes students and externals.

You only need to purchase one ticket for both Men’s and Women’s Rugby, and which ticket below depends on where you are travelling from. You can buy your tickets in the following places:


Travel Information

Your safety is paramount to us and we want to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. As every year, we will be laying on buses for all students and externals. Please make sure you read through the information below.

  • The buses are the only approved form of transport to and from the rugby club.
  • There is strictly no parking on site. Cars will be turned around, so please do not travel in your car to avoid disappointment.
  • You must show the bus driver your ticket to get on the bus.
  • There will be two shuttle buses running. One for University of Kent students/supporters and one for Christ Church University students/supporters.
  • Christ Church University student pick up will be at Old Sessions House and University of Kent student pick up will be from Darwin Bus Stop.
  • Christ Church University buses will begin pick up times from 16:15, and University of Kent buses will begin from 16:40, at the designated pick up points.
  • The Shuttle journey will be approximately 15-20 minutes long.
  • Each double decker can carry up to 80 people.
  • Pickups can be expected 15-20 minutes, however please allow for delays. A schedule for the shuttle will be published closer to the day.
  • There will be a bus leaving at 20:15 for those leaving after the Women’s game. Only two buses (one for each university) will leave at this time.
  • After the Men’s game, the shuttle services will run until the rugby club is cleared.
  • The far side (tower side) will be where Kent buses will arrive.
  • Near side rugby club will be where CCCU buses will arrive.
  • There will be a bus leaving at 20:30 for those leaving after the women’s game. Only two buses (one for each uni) will leave at this time otherwise service resumes at 21:30.

General Rugby Club Information

  • Megaphones are not permitted
  • This is a zero tolerance site – you will be checked on entry
  • As stated, please do not drive to this event
  • No streaking, you will be ejected from the venue
  • There will be a bar and food vendors on site
  • Toilet facilities will also be available
